Leadership Lambda

Leadership Lambda is looking forward to the needs of future! After investigating leadership concerns and needs in the DFW GLBT community, the organization has designed an entirely new offering of training and classes.

Leadership Lambda's new programs and new look will be announced at a special event on Saturday, October 14, 2006, 6:00-8:00 PM at Monica’s Aca y Alla, 3914 Main in Deep Ellum. The public and members of the press are invited to attend.

At this same event, Leadership Lambda will present its 2006 Exemplar Award to Sally O’Connor. The Exemplar recognizes individuals whose leadership sets an example for others active in the GLBT community. It honors those who inspire others to strive for new levels of leadership.

Leadership Lambda trains, supports and honors passionate thinkers, advocates and leaders to expand the legacy of strong organizations in the GLBT community. Founded in 1993, Leadership Lambda has become know for its annual seminar series designed to encourage active citizens and train community leaders. In 2004, Leadership Lambda became a program of the Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance, Don Baker Education Fund and has continued to offer its leadership development educational programs.
